Hi I’m looking for ant pice of Morpeth buildings wood at Birkenhead,my mum was reared there .many thanks annette

Needs further investigation, but I think the church (pic2) is Holy Trinity, Price St and Morpeth Buildings are not in shot.

Pic 1 should have the Great Western and Watson St in view, can't pick them out?

That was me being lazy, I didn’t check properly. Where about are we after then? That was the section west of Park Street which is where I thought the paint place was.

Check Derek's first map (pic) further back, Buildings between Watson St and Cathcart St.

DD, is it possible to get the front elevation of the houses in Watson St, between the North Western and the Arab Arms?

Not very good quality I'm afraid as this is the 1946 image. I'll try and put it through Remini sometime and see if it enhances it, sometimes it does miracles.

Arab Arms, it has what I assume is the year, 1882.

There are newspaper snippets, at least as early as 1860, Arab Arms, Watson St, Birkenhead.

Different location in Watson St? Knocked down and rebuilt? Top half added?

Even better, I can now see the house I was born into. Thanks again.
