At about 11:05pm tonight, the International Space Station may be visible from the Wirral for a few minutes in the south-west. Its very low down so you need a clear view to the south-west.
It may be visible the next few nights as well but I think tonight is the longest.

Saw that in the countryside of Wales a few years ago. No light pollution, it was quite lovely to see.

For those interested in satellite watching, I like the 'Heavens above ' site. This has good information on a number of satellites.
In particular, it has an interactive display of the planet and Elon Musks recently launched group of 60 satellites. They are still visible as a number of groups, but don't worry if you miss them. He is planning 12,000 of the bloody things. They will be hard to avoid. Forget a beautiful night sky!

10:16 tonight (Sunday) for four minutes going from WSW towards South at pretty low elevation it will be at its highest (but still low) at 1018 SSW.
Friday would have been the best time, it was higher up and visible for 5 minutes.
