The hospital was at Arrowe Hall, probably the only building large enough to use, unless of course there was a hutted complex in close proximity. Always thought the Americans had a major hutted hospital at Clatterbridge, I thought Arrowe park was used for tank training

Always thought the Americans had a major hutted hospital at Clatterbridge, I thought Arrowe park was used for tank training I have a clear memory from my childhood of being on the top deck of a bus going along Arrowe Park Road towards Moreton and seeing a tank lodged in the broken stone boundary wall of the park, having just crashed into it. This must have been around the mid to late1950s, so military training may still have been going on there at that time. Or, with advancing age, my memory may be playing tricks on me.
