That looks really good. Not sure I'd want him peering into my bedrom window though. Perhaps there's going to be text with it that will clarify the choice of image. The mermaid and seascape on the Pub by Hope Street are really lovely, and the beastie above the shops; they all combine to make the area quirky and interesting.

Literally will look amazing by the end of the week once it's finished (looks like a load of flags will accompany the portrait).. lived here for over 10 years and it's looking different these days ,hope I get a job at some point this year ... as for being a Banksy ... never know ?!!

It could be that Martin Luther King was assassinated on 4th April 1968, so it's the 51st anniversary of his death.
