The Line of Polity by Neal Asher, its hard going .... too many story lines and too many characters for a bear of little brain like me.

Jilly Cooper-same for me. I'm wary of books that have a list of characters and their 'roles' at the front.
I like 'brain-easy' books. Books/ stories that 'take me elsewhere'.

The book that i really, really REALLY want to read is 'A Short History of Everything' by Bill Bryson.
I've attempted to read this book 2 or 3 times- it blows my tiny mind, i give up because generally i read in bed, before sleep. The facts in this book get my mind racing..,
Reading this, in entirety is on my 'before i die' list.

Oh, I bought the book off Amazon, after the rave reviews. Never been able to pick it up though!

We should start a book club (ha)

I've just started reading the Oxford English Dictionary.

Not much of a story but at least you get everything explained as you go along.

Haven't worked at who dunnit yet, but I've a feeling it might be the zombie...
