Did anyone watch Newsnight tonight about the Yazidis ?
Horror of horrors !
More information coming out now from the treatment these poor people have encountered. Many fathers and men killed initially, the women and children were separated. The women were sent into slavery, the children lived with ISIS wives and families. The children were taught to kill, taught how to use weapons and sent into the battles. They don't know how many are still missing. Then the poor kids, boys and girls told of how they were instructed to play football with decapitated heads !
These animals are not fit to be in civilised society, and the brainwashing still goes on, on Facebook and internet sites . These who see themselves as gods who can eradicate these animals from their deep beliefs are kidding themselves, but the 'do-gooders', yet again, will fail against such power and leave us all at the mercy of one God or another. It is VERY hard to persuade those with religious convictions to denounce their beliefs. Those who don't have such convictions can not even have a clue about what they will be up against. I doubt they will ever break those animals , they may send them into hibernation for a while.

I really don't believe that religious belief has that much to do with it, its more like the attraction of power through gang-culture. Normally internal squabbles and power struggles break these thing apart before they get too powerful but the ruthlessness and a lot of luck seems to have helped ISIS.

That DD, must be the general opinion . For those who have no roots in religion it must be very hard to appreciate, but these people will die for such inherent beliefs. To listen to people talk about 'sky fairies' and joke about there not being Jesus or a God, even for someone like myself who is not fanatically religious and always open to the questions it brings, such remarks actually bring tears to my eyes through maybe desperation, frustration or even anger , I'm not sure, but the same remarks will never convince me otherwise and I believe followers of the twisted Islam who are fanatical will not relent. It's totally impossible. I suppose it could be explained as you telling someone your mother never gave birth to you. Try and convince everyone else. It's that difficult.

Maybe it should be the other way around ? It's like everyone else telling you that your mother didn't give birth to you. Try to make them believe she did. Anyway, you get the idea.
