Houses built in Thingwall by Magenta.
On the planning documents linked, March 2015, it states that the land for building house is privately owned.
Local people have said it was Council land . There is also mention in the linked document to garages being on the plot of land mentioned, so I assume it was Council land providing garages for the previous council properties.
The only conclusion is that the Council have sold the land to Magenta,(or a middle man) Mangenta have built 7 houses in total, 4 mid-end terrace and 3 semi-detached.
That seems to have taken away the outlook of the local neighbours of the trees and the play area for children.
These houses are now on Rightmove selling for £175,000, £185,000 and £195,000 and would seem to be vastly overpriced for the area.
What I would like to know is, if it was Council land (which is almost certainly was) why has it been sold to Magenta for them to build houses for Sale
when there is a huge demand for social housing ?
Is this ethical ? https://democracy.wirral.gov.uk/documents/s50023921/14_01540RPT.pdf
