"The council-organised displays on Saturday, November 4 will be held at Central Park in Wallasey, Birkenhead Park, Park Drive, Birkehead, Mayer Park in Bebington, Lingham Park in Moreton and Woodchurch Leisure Centre."

(love that the Wirral Globe can't spell "Birkenhead")

There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. David Osland 2025

Any idea as to why they're being held on 4th November ? Bonfire Night is 5th November and only 5th November. It's illegal to set off fireworks at any other time.

It's a Saturday, no school and fewer people work on Sunday.
The little ones can stay up later.

God help us,
Come yourself,
Don't send Jesus,
This is no place for children.

It’s not on bonfire night so it doesn’t collide with private displays and reduce attendance at both.

It’s not illegal to set fireworks off at other times of the year.
