On the way home from work at 6:15am this morning, I saw a ginger (yellow?) tabby cat lying dead in the gutter of Leasowe Road, (on the golf course side.) It's before the roundabout. I don't know how far up, as I was shocked and upset to see it. Thought I'd mention it here in case somebody knows who might own the poor little soul.

I may be wrong about where it was. I was tired from a 12 hour night shift and also on my phone when I saw it, (I was the passenger in the car, not the driver.) At least I'd hate to think there were 2 cats killed on that road this morning.
