There's been a load of camper vans parked at the west end of new Brighton prom for ages. Wondering if these are they.

I saw a load of caravans in the fenced area next to 'Wallasey Docks Links road North', near the Penny bridge, opposite the rowing club. The area used to be Rea's bulk handling and the caravans are parked where the three big cranes used to be, before Bidston Dock was filled in.
I wonder where they dispose of their rubbish and toilet waste?

They will find the nearest and best suitable places, except the tip.

I remember fishing Raddle wharf in Ellesmere Port with a friend who has since passed away. Two young travelers tried to rifle through his jacket pockets while he was concentrating on fishing. When I alerted him to what they were doing, they tried to push him into the water which was 18 feet deep. A week later, we were fishing in the canal by Carbon black and the travelers were camped on the opposite bank. As I was fishing, a bag full of soiled nappies sailed over the fence and landed in the water right where I was fishing.
So yes, I've had first hand experience.

Travellers' caravans park up next to children's play area

Quote
There were claims the Travellers were washing in the duck pond and hanging their clothes out to dry on the fences surrounding the play area.
