I personally think that they should be de-selected. But since when do politicians listen to party members?

OK, Mark; close my account. I can't tolerate these restrictions.

Admin Note : Chris while posting those on your ignore list you are "Trolling" your posting for a reaction. While those on your ignore have been very tolerant towards your comments, you are in breach of our rules. These rules have always been in place forever and you have used the same rules im implementating back at you. Its not in the wiki spirit. Its also a huge waste of my time, cleaning up after such posts. And opening and closing your account at will, it all takes time. Come on Chris you do have alot of respect from so many members. If you want your account closed drop me a pm.

Sorry to see you go Chris, have I missed something or was your post deleted because you merely said you didn't care what other people thought?

I think it was because Chris didn't agree with the views of some wiki members and twice named those people he was going to put them on his ignore list instead of just pressing the ignore button without posting names.
Also said if his post was deleted he'd leave - which he's done.
I'll certainly miss him and his contributions he's made and could have made to the history section.

I think he takes things to seriously, its only a debate they cause differences of opinion without which life would be dull, I hope I have done nothing to offend him other than to be a member of the Labour party, I wish him the best.

Thanks for your good wishes, casper. The future of the country needs to be taken seriously. I've nothing against the Labour party, at least before Blair got at it: what I object to is ANY party being led by a buffoon, which Corbyn clearly is, although I daresay he's a perfectly genuine guy, just not a leader.

Here are some extracts from Angela Eagle's voting summary that I find concerning (I've highlighted some) :-

Generally voted for use of UK military forces in combat operations overseas

Consistently voted for the Iraq war

Consistently voted against an investigation into the Iraq war

Generally voted for more EU integration

Voted a mixture of for and against a referendum on the UK's membership of the EU

Consistently voted against raising the threshold at which people start to pay income tax

Generally voted against higher taxes on alcoholic drinks

Generally voted against lower taxes on fuel for motor vehicles

Generally voted against encouraging occupational pensions

Generally voted against higher taxes on banks

Voted a mixture of for and against measures to reduce tax avoidance

Generally voted for university tuition fees

Generally voted against a transparent Parliament

Almost always voted against local councils keeping money raised from taxes on business premises in their areas

Generally voted against allowing national security sensitive evidence to be put before courts in secret sessions

Generally voted against a statutory register of lobbyists

How often are the whips used to persuade mps to toe the party line.just because an mp votes a certain way doesnt always mean they agree.
