Around the Nighties Citzens Band Radio was at its boom is there anybody on her who owned one and what fun did you have with it My handle (no pun intended) was Lima Echo Echo couldnt think of anything else i liked CB but it got boring and it was the same shit so i got rid of it. So anybody on here used to be on it ?

yes i had one i also had a 14ft aerial on the side of me house and used dx alot with other countrys aswell as the uk my handle was python

av still got 1 not that i go on it anymoor though... its only an FM 1 though an there is only a fuw pople left on there now

As for being a nerd - probably one of those too. Signed up to do 2 more qualifications on top of Law just for the hell of it! As if the Maths and English exams weren't bad enough. Only doing them because I can! Why wasn't I as focussed as this at school??

IMHO CB or HAM radio is very similar to internet chat rooms and forums, you talk to complete strangers about similar interests and organise eyeballs or meets.

My Handle was "Death Leopard" I started with a midland with mag-mount, then a Cobra with a power mic, amp and di-pole.

Cruisers using CB's could be a great way of fighting back against mobile speed cameras or even road works or arranging meets whilst out driving around.
