Thinking of doing a HID conversion in the Focus 6000k set which will hopefully mean i get a moding bug for the old focus, stranger things have happened.

So can anyone point me in the right direction. Yes i know ebay is littered with them, but who is a good seller and i know i'm gonna need help fitting them if i decide to do it.

Cheers guys

I got mine off an eBay seller from China as they were about £30 cheaper for the kit.

However, I'd buy them from UK sellers in the future as if you find out one of the bulbs is broken or the ballasts is fooked, it'll cost you a lot more to send them back to china for a replacement.

Theres not much to fit mate, just make sure you order the right type of bulb as the headlights you already have, i.e. H1, H2 e.t.c.
You might have to drill a hole in the back of your headlight or make some way of fitting the cables through.

...if you have an H4 fitment, the choice is a little more complicated wink

They do a Bi-Xenon in the H4, where the bulb moves in and out between hi and low beam - they are about £30-£40 more than a Xenon/Halogen setup, but you get the HID benefit on hi beam also.

Unless you need a special fitment, the Bi Xenons are around £100 - the BMW needed a special fitment, and where near £150 omg

I didnt have to modify mine, just a straight swap for a H1 bulb

Mine uses H7s and they plug in to a holder and the loom plugs in to that - you cant plug the hid loom directly in to the bulb on the E46s.

To fit HIDs to the 46s, you need a modified bulb holder which allows the HID loom to connect to the bulbs...
