AN indoor skate park venture at Bromborough's Croft Business Park has been given the green light despite it clashing with the local development plan.

The development will create 16 jobs and bring back into use two industrial units that have been vacant for more than two years.

The scheme was approved unanimously by Wirral planning committee.

Committee chairman Cllr Bernie Mooney said skateboarding was hugely popular with young people and she was hopeful that the centre would be well supported.

That is excellent news! For jobs, and for the young people.

should've built one in Birkenhead Park instead of an eyesore cafe. The place is crying out for one of those rinks to get the scallies engaged in something besides creating mayhem. One of them and open, all weather footy pitches.
Is this ice skating?
