Thanks for the suggestion but I'm looking more for people who say like, 'My Garden needs a bit of digging doing' Or, 'I'm moving house, and would like help moving' stuff like that. Otherwise I have to post 'Window Cleaner blah blah blah' in shopw windows and stuff.

The 'thanks for the suggestion' was as if to say thank you, but it's not the kind of thing I was thinking about. I wasn't being stand offish, I was actually thanking you for trying to help.

To be fair to summer, I think she was going along the lines if you can't be bothered to put any work/effort into finding work, why would you be bothered to do any work/effort you were paid for. Hence her comment about the OP's attitude.

Seems quite a sensible conclusion to draw.

My point was, going and posting into shop windows when there's other window cleaners who do that with much more experience than I have they'll be much more likely to get work than I will, and concidering I'm out every wednesday, the only day I'm off work, plastering C.V's about Liscard, Bebington, New Ferry, Birkenhead, Wallasey and so on I wouldn't say there's any lack of effort.
