Perhaps WBC could learn a lesson from the Japs. This one was sorted in less than a week!

Driving along the prom and around New Brighton today and was shocked to see the deterioration of the highways with large cracks all over the place.

Ah! pot holes, our roads and Wirral Council my on going battle with them, they don't seem to understand not everyone drives a car, and many ride two wheels in one way or another, and how dangerous our roads are, faced with all the other hazards we had to endure we also have flooded roads due to blocked grids, cracks, sunken manholes the biggest hazard on the road, and they are all in the dumbest places, ie roundabouts, road junctions, etc.
I wrote to the head guy at the highways dept pointing these things out, and say throwning this loose grit on top of a road doesn't do any good infact it makes it worse for us, better to resurface the road correctly in the first place, the way i look at this is you want to decorate a room in your house and pull off the old wallpaper and see the cracks in the plaster, so you fill them in and sand them down before you repaper the wall, Wirrals answer is strip the wallpaper off and give it a coat of paint, and that what they do to our roads.
The repley i got back was i was being offence!
Sorry but they are all corrupt tossers!
