Foodbank donations taken at council buildings.

Donations of food to be passed on to Wirral Foodbank can now be made at council libraries and One Stop Shops.

Wirral Foodbank is a local charity that gets food to people who are in crisis.

Donations of non-perishable food can now also be made at local libraries or One Stop Shops. Items will be passed on to Wirral Foodbank ready to be given as food parcels to individuals or families in crisis.

Items always needed for the parcels include:

• Milk (UHT or powdered)

• Sugar (500g)

• Bottled squash

• Instant mash potato

• Pasta sauces

• Cereals

• Tinned sponge pudding

• Tinned tomatoes

• Tinned rice pudding

• Instant coffee

• Tinned meat

• Tinned fish

• Tinned vegetables

• Tinned spaghetti

• Tinned custard

• Baby food / milk

• Nappies
