Just spent a lovely afternoon at Tam O'Shanter. All the children visiting were enjoying the animals & play areas but theres a real danger of closure unless they get volunteers & cash.So come on all you animal lovers out there give them a call if you can help in anyway.Theres not many places where you can go for FREE these days

Help with fund-raising and support for events (check posters on site, also website for info) would certainly be welcome, though the number of volunteers they can look after, or indeed find work for, is limited as things stand. The farm's a great place to take kiddies, especially if you haven't much cash to spend. The cafe will be opening again soon with new tenants, so keep an eye open for news on that.

Why not become a Friend of the farm and make an annual donation.
Its great. You get emails about farm news, when the pigs have had piglets and sheep have had lambs. Its lovely to see. We`re lucky to have a local farm. They`re very friendly too.
Get a car sticker and show your support.

Brilliant idea but they should charge a higher annual donation fee.Well worth it

Well I think they keep it low so it doesn`t put people off. It would be better if more people donated. Thats only a suggested amount. You can give more.

Perhaps they could get the local big stores Sainsburys Tesco Morrisons etc to donate 10p for every lamb or pork joint they sell. It is a great place -used to live 400yds from there and the wife and kiddies were always up there. The rangers there have done a wonderful job over the years.
