I could spit! My local opticians told me earlier this year that it had been stopped as it wasn't cost effective , so I dumped a number that Id accumulated . I thought he had meant the whole scheme.

Thanks for that.. my opticians <crown optical,no longer in busness> said that they don,t do it any more..Glad to make use of 'old' glasses..

I've just taken several into Specsavers in Liscard and they were happy to take them even though I wasn't a customer. I suppose it would pay to check before making a special journey as the list may not be up to date.
