Just noticed this store in Birkenhead market Hamilton Aisle.
Lots of gadgets.
Got myself a sock aid - no more huffing and puffing just to put my socks on. (fat bellied chap that I am)

So wrong Chriskay! Available online, cheapest price at £67 a pair including postage from USA where they are referred to as 'garters'. You can have a pair in 5-7 days!

Ah, well, Granny; they were always a bit behind the times over there. Terribly expensive! Yes, they call them garters and call braces suspenders. Two nations separated by the same language. Any spats available?

Had some spats somewhere chris but don't know what I've done with them. Mind you, they were the gert big jock ones as used by the Black Watch, didn't look too good with civvies I should think.
