Tonight at about 18.20 there was a very definite shudder as if something very, very heavy had been dropped outside the house.

I felt a tremor a couple of weeks ago but discounted it.

Anyone else?

Nothing appears to have been recorded,

http://www.earthquakes.bgs.ac.uk/earthquakes/recent_uk_events.html

They record all tremors and reports of Earthquakes from around the British Isle, but who knows?
