Has anyone else recieved notification that their benefits are going to be paid fortnightly and if you cannot manage in the first time of changing the dhss will offer you a loan to tide you over to be paid back in 6 fortnightly payments.

personally i think claiments are going to end up much worse off as those who make their weekly payments for catalogues etc etc are going to have to juggle things round and same if you have d/d and s/o's going outa your bank and as for the grant/loan just another way of causing probs
My Daughters DLA is paid monthly.
DLA payments are usually made every four weeks on a tuesday. Incapacity payments are also usually paid on a Tuesday but every two weeks.
Us pensioners have are benifit paid monthly, the benifit is called OLD AGE PENSION. We did not all go into a shell and stop living after reaching 65 or 60 if the person was a female. So for some who dont like change , get use to it as you will all one day be on the monthly benifit payment like a lot of us
Don't wish to boast but I've just had a Pension rise, however my tax free allowance was cut so they took it back off me in tax. That'll teach me to work all my life for a pension.

The "Pension Credit" system made fools of a lot of people that paid into pensions, talk about a backwards incentive!
