Maybe gardening suppliers, where they sell paraffin heaters for greenhouses. That lot on the top chester rd.

If it's of any help, my local ASDA sells 4ltr containers of paraffin (Paracene I think it's branded). In the section with the greenhouse/gardening stuff. Don't know if all ASDA's have it though. Worth trying your branch. It WAS £4.99p per 4ltrs. Probably gone up though.

re: my post yesterday on paraffin/paracene. I was getting my ASDA and my B&Q mixed up. As jimbob says - it's at B&Q !!!!!!
