My great grandfather Harry (or Henry Drew) lived in the parish of St John's, Poulton-cum-Seacombe in the 1880s/1890s and was an organist, possibly at St John's. Is there any records in local churches of who the organists were? His wife Georgina was a music teacher and they had about four children at the time born in Ceylon as they had returned to England from working at schools near Colombo.
I would be grateful for any information or being able to get in contact with the keeper of parish records.
