I like Homewares direct in Liscard rd and Borough Road Wallasey Quality and price are both impressive They will give you an inclusive price for both cooker and fitting. They have new and reconditioned stuff. Two weeks ago they had an almost new cooker for £130 when I checked it on internet lowest price for a new one was £420.They give a guarantee on everything.
I am a volunteer with a charity and we use them all the time for our clients.

You could Try Appliance Express in Bromborough. 0151 327 8887.

They may be cheaper than Currys and similar. No guarantees but it might be worth giving them a bell.

I have a cooker in my yard that is wrapped up in plastic tarpaulin, there was nothing wrong with it, we just changed our kitchen and put a built in oven and seperate top in, and as our house is so small we didnt have room to keep it inside, its a electric fan oven with a glass top with one of the rings being halogen, its a lovley oven and your welocme to take it for free, hubby wont sell it as we cant be 100 % sure it works as its been outside, even though as its covered there is no reason why it shouldnt work, if your interested i will get him to take a proper look at it and make sure no water has got in since we last looked, if your willing to take a chance let me know,

I am also in the market for a new cooker, and looking for suggestions. Preferably someone who will disconnect and take away my broken cooker and install the new one.

I'm in the Wallasey area and have heard mixed reviews about Powerpoint on Rake Lane. Anyone have experience with them?

Thanks!
