why is it that over the last couple of years on Wirral you cannot rely on getting a taxi after a night out???Its got so bad that you are reluctant to go out knowing that its most likely you will not be able to get a taxi home.
I`ve been told that a lot of the firms on Wirral have merged and the problem has started from this merger

the answer to your question is a lot of the drivers only
like taking people on the way out when they are in good
spirits, have the money,no where they are going. So you get
80% of the night shift work till 11.30 then go home because
they cant be arsed with bringing them all home again,as
people are rowing with there other half, forget where they
live, have no money, want to drive round looking for drugs ect
i no its not everybody but most jobs after 12 are a nightmare

Joeblogs has a number of really good points. was picked up from airport a couple of weeks ago by a 'rookie' driver, had tale of being stiffed on a fare the night before, lads just got off and told him where to go when he asked for money at end of ride - wasnt confident/assertive enough to do any more about it - was told by control that was not something police are interested in - so live n learn.
spendign half the late night/early morning shift being prepared to wash sick out of your upholstery/chase idiots trying to evadse paying and potentially being robbed doesnt look a good use of time tbh.
