If your asking "anywhere" on the Wirral, why say Prenton is out of the way?

Not on Wirral, but if you ever go to Chester, the Steamer Trading cookshop on Bridge Street will sharpen kitchen knives; It's either £1.50 or £2.50 each: can't remember which.

Depending upon what knifes your sharpening, you may try a key cutter as they have grinding wheels. Failing that the Market could be a punt.

* In this day and age, you would probably be walking around with a lethal weapon (The knives).
