Hi,just had gas people out,we have a leak under the gas rings,the pipe needs replacing/rethreading,how much would this cost?

Only the manufacturers can rethread a pipe on their gas appliance, so if the pipe isn't available from the manufacture then its time for a new cooker. Who are the gas people? Do you mean National Grid?
