Can anyone recommend a bathroom fitter/company that they have used and found to be good?

I've had a couple of people give me a quote and they're not too bad, but I've found that they've wanted to change my mind on the type of bath/taps/toilet I want, almost as though they're doing my bathroom to how they would want theirs!

I'd be grateful for any suggestions smile

Does he do whole bathrooms ie, plumb, tile, plaster and everything else involved in fitting bathrooms? Please send me his number in a private message if he does, thanks

Hi Elizabeth, had our bathroom renewed about nine months ago.Suggest you buy all the fixtures and fittings and then you tell the tradesmen how YOU would like it fitted. The Plumber we used is excellent and the Tiler was also. Plumber, Paul 07857 181 444. Tiler, Martin 07834 352 440.Having trouble downloading photos,I'll pm you my number if you would like to have a look.Regards Phil.

We have also just had our bathroom refitted. We bought the suite and tiles he did the rest. He even fitted the shower and got an electrician in to do the electrics, but that was all included in the quote he gave us. His name is Nigel - 07798907988

He gave us 2 prices when he quoted, one if everything went as planned, and one if with complications he could anticipate - these being if the walls needed plastering, shower needed a new fuse box and wiring etc.... He did need to plaster, and the shower did need wiring, the final price was 1/2 way between the 2 quotes which was nice as we knew the min / max price it was going to be.

Phil, do those heated towel rails give out a lot of heat. It's what I want in my bathroom but a few people now have said they're not too good at giving out heat ?

Neil Stocker is very good.

Our heated towel rail doesnt throw a lot of heat into the bathroom at all even when v.hot to the touch - we had a very small rad put into the airing cupboard to air clothes so we leave the door open a bit and between them they keep the small bathroom warm enough.

The tubular towel rails don't put out much heat, but you can get a version with a small panel radiator in them.

Yes, that's what I've heard. I think I'll stick with a regular one then.
