I know there are many websites out there who let you sign up and get vouchers for things, but I am taking a teenager out for the day. Ideally we would like to go to Chester Zoo. We used to be members and had a book of vouchers for family and friends I don't suppose anyone on here has anything like that?

Anywhere decent in the North West really, do-able by public transport. Just need to keep it low cost.

Thanks in advance.

For a teenager how about a tour of either Goodison or Anfield.
Lots of offers here http://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/default

Sallybear, is this any good for you? I know she's not a 'kid' but it covers a lot more for ideas.

Is anyone prepared to give her Two tickets to Chester zoo?

Cheers Salmon, she's not really into football but it's quite interesting I will bring it up later.

Thanks for the links Granny, I'll take a better look when I get home. I had totally forgotten about Go Ape!! And that Shire Horse place is right up her street.

link for cheap zoo A combination zoo ticket includes:

Return rail travel to and from Chester station from anywhere on the Merseyrail network.
Return bus travel between Chester station and the zoo.
Entry to the zoo.

Buy the best Merseyrail ticket for your journey and add Chester Zoo entry and bus travel, tickets cost:

Adult – best Merseyrail return ticket + £15.50
Senior - best Merseyrail return ticket + £14
Child (5 - 15) - best Merseyrail return ticket + £12.50
Child (3 - 4) – travel is FREE + £10.50
Infant (aged 2 and under) = travel is FREE and admission to the zoo is FREE

An All Zone Day Saver costs just £4.70 for adults and £2.35 for children and can be used from 9.30am for unlimited travel on the Merseyrail network.

So the cost for unlimited rail travel, return bus travel between Chester station and the zoo and entrance to the zoo would be £20.20 for an adult (£4.70 + £15.50) and £14.85 for a child aged 5 - 15 (£2.35 + £12.50).

15% off with bike smile

This also sounds good fun..and different, although might be a bit tricky getting home afterwards on public transport.
Quite exciting for a teenager (I think)
