Wallasey Tunnel - Wirral-Wikiwirral

Anyone know why traffic diverted to Birkenhead Tunnel as Wallasey closed?

Does anyone know what lights you should use in the tunnels? We always thought it was sidelights.Perhaps somebody could help !

Road Traffic Act 1988, or any amendment thereof, to be carried during
the hours of darkness and shall keep the same extinguished or

I put my sidelights on so that I can see my speedometer, don't want to get done for speeding.
