anyone no when bloody tower road is opening?

Last time I heard it was 5th of December but I know things have a habbit of going over schedule.

Just checked Wirral council web site - it says. Winter 2012!!!! Does not help does it!?

There is a sign up now. I don't know if it says when it will open on it though as its a bit awkward to stop there

they've been hitting the other bridge with a hammer quite a bit this week so something might be happening??

Don't bank of that. The hammering is from the automatic, hydraulic hammering machine they've bolted to the main girders. It goes off in random bursts. The "workers" are in the adjacent hut, playing cards and gulping down the cheap Vodka!!

The bridge will be open for a week in March 2013, then closed again for an indefinite period whilst they rectify the bodge ups!

according to the Wirral Globe, re-opens friday (14th) afternoon.
