May be easier for him to get the train to Birkenhead Park.

Bus wise, i think it would be bus to Moreton. Moreton to Birkenhead train station and then the No38

He's got a few options. Train from Leasowe to Birkenhead Park then walk about 10 minutes to the school. Or take 18 or 38 bus from Hoylake Road/Reeds Lane bus stop. Both buses stop about 1 minute from the school.

As recommended above, try the journey planner on the Merseytravel website.

We lived in Leasowe and I went to St Anselm's. In the 1st year I walked to Leasowe Station, train to Park then walk from there.Sometimes train to North and bus from there.Later I went on my bike.
