Does anyone know what happened to the clock in cadburys that could be seen from pasture road opposite the texaco garage

I am not sure when they removed it but it wont be back. 'A' Block where it was on the front(and B Block) have been empty and left to the pigeons for a few years now and will be demolished eventually along with all the buildings on the other side of the road as far back as the Manor Bakeries building.

No doubt the area will be accommodated by those hidiously crappy new plasterboard houses that are fit only for tiny people.

Or maybe they will build more of those revolting looking flats on the site to match those of the ones on reeds lane that the main purpose is to fit as many people in as possible with total disregard to living conditions.
