After being self employed for the past ten years i have applied for a job in the NHS. The wage per anum is £12,577 -£15,523 pro rata.Sorry to be thick but how do you work out pro rata and how much would i actually earn?

I think pro rota means that the annual wage stated is based on you working a 37.5hour week.

so £12577 pro rota is £6.44per hour based on 37.5hr week over 52weeks
£15523 = £7.96ph

so if you work 16hrs pw it would be £6.44 - £7.96 x 16 x 52.

does this make sense.
