mum was born in tranmere in 1925, any ideas what school she could have attended locally she was c of e.

higher tranmere. got an old bible she won, st catherines sunday school 1938.

St Catherine's, Hillside Rd, Higher Tranmere.

others could be, Mersey Park, Elm Rd, Higher Tranmere.

Mersey Park and Well Lane are the ones that come to mind.

They are close to St. Caths., and still operational as infant and primary schools (in the old terminology).

I think the secondary school for there would be Temple Road, laterly Prenton Secondary. The catchment area boundary for that was (in part) between Willmer Road and Raffles Road and I've no idea of the southern boundary.
