Is the date of the photograph really 1930? The clothes the kids are wearing seem a bit more modern than that. The doll's house on the left also looks more recent. 
(One of the boys on the back row has a snake-belt on. These were certainly worn in the 1930's, but were also popular in the 40's, 50's, and 60's).
