Anybody else go there??
I went there 72-80, loved that school!!
I went there from about 1995 to 2001
my mum's worked there as a teaching assistant for fourteen years, haha.
I remember Mr Gay the Head in 1969 getting us all into the hall to watch the 1st moon landing. I am so glad he did this now...
@Digital_twiddler... I went to Woodchurch Road Primary in the '50's. A Mr Gay was there. A tall chap who had bad scarring to his face. The story was he was a fighter pilot in the war and was shot down in flames?
Is this the same Mr Gay I wonder? A kindly soul I recall.
Yip. That's the same chap - same story as well.....
I went to Mersey Park up to 1945 we had a Maisie in our class !
Were you named after your mother?
My brother and sisters,in the 60s/70s,my children, grandchildren,in 80s/2012 and my daughter works there.

The same Mr. Gay who was Headmaster at Rock Ferry Primary when I was there 1961-1964. A really nice man.
Bob.
Just found this, Mersey Park School in 1955.
