Building of St Peters, St Pauls in New Brighton 1934. I don't know whether this is still a church or if it's shut down

As shown, it looks like that church/shrine that stood alone after the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.

Thats an amazing pic,I live just next to the church and after it being closed for a while I'm glad to say its back in use. Incidentally, my uncle who spent most of his life at sea calls it 'the dome of home'.Really enjoying the photos you post, thanks for sharing.
