Englands shoe shop. I think this was in Oxton Road. Anyone remember it?

I don't remember the shop Pablo, but just look at those ornate barge boards. They don't (can't) make 'em like that anymore !!

That shop was in Grange Road. I had some pretty little satin shoes from there when I was a tiny bridesmaid in 1952.

Pinz, plenty of joiners could make you or any one else a set of those barge boards, but not many people would be prepaired to pay the price they would cost, certainly no one north of the border. That was a good shoe shop during the 50s. I bought my first pair of brothel creepers from there. (inch} thick soles, matched my velvet coller zoo suit fine.
