Hi...
need a little help...
am trying to place where Warwick Street was...
I am assuming Oxton, but I only have one reference and thats on a 1881 census form. No idea when it disappeared or why...

hopefully someone knowledgeable here will either remember or be able to find out.....
thanks

I believe it was one of the streets that ran between Westbourne Road and Oxton Road and was demolished about 40 years ago. smile

think you may have solved the puzzle there...
firstly fits nicely into the area where the rest of the family were living, and secondly, there is now warwick close in that area which I assume would have been built after the original street was demolished..

Cheers

I used to live in Warwick Street as a nipper. We were moved to the Woodchurch Estate when they decided to knock it down, must have been about 1971-ish.
