Lol and even Manweb are pushing their luck nowadays, every utility bill I had latey is SP only.
Ahhh how times change!
Thanks for posting that, Lee. A nice nostalgic overhead view of the old Ritz cinema there, where I was projectionist. & a pic. of the Empire, which I'd forgotten about. Now who can tell me when the Conway St. viaduct was chopped?
Cheers, Chris.
1995?
there used to be a bathroom kitchen /diy shop running along side it in conway street(where the cool rooms and beach are now)that was forced to close due to lack of custom when they were taking it down
I loved that one?
If my dad drove quick enough up it the conway street one
i would get butterflies in it lol
ne1 got any pics of that conway st1?
There is some pictures in the PDF, but despite months of searching, I havent yet been able to find modern photos of the Conway St Flyover or the old Birkenhead Bus Station located alongside it.

shame i've been tryin 4 ages (scourin the net) but no luck as yet

Wow nice one Mark, great find, thoroughly enjoyed that, first time I have ever seen any video of what the West Kirby Joint line look like, even if it did only last 2 seconds lol, gonna watch the other parts on Youtube!
Does or did youtube have a download option at all?
http://www.videodownloadx.com/Note - Has some dodgy "adult" orientated adverts from time to time.
Nice 1 Matt. Thanks for the link.I`m sure I can cope with the ads,(at a push).
If you have Firefox then I'd recommend DownloadHelper to snatch embedded Flash content myself.
Is there any more flyovers such as this or the one that was to be build between Jct 4 & 5 (I think) on the M53, or major roads that were never built?
I do just about remember the flyover

Hmmm dunno what happened there, they should have appeared under that pic.
I hate computers !
A lot of the Bidston Fly over box sections where made in Cammell Lairds
wow them pix are brill. loving the lack of H&S
some of us can remember the town prior to the fly overs, and the M53 and all the other alterations that where made to the tunnel entrance, and even when the dock entrance was in use.
always wondered why the flyover had a dead end. nice job on the info
Thanks for sharing doctor frick, appriciate it
