An American naturalist and wildlife filmmaker will be "eaten alive" by an anaconda for an experimental TV show.

Paul Rosolie will enter the belly of an anaconda in a custom-built snake-proof suit in a show to be aired next month on the Discovery Channel in the US.

Mr Rosolie is briefly seen kneeling down and bowing his head in front of the snake, responded to criticism that the stunt was cruel.

He posted a message on Twitter saying "I would never hurt a living thing. But you'll have to watch #EatenAlive to find out how it goes down!"

Pulled back out again by the rope he will be attached too?? Stupid idea. I will stick to watching Attenborough!!

They probably will do something to it. I have never heard of
such stupid ideas. What's it going to prove and is he going to have a mini camera to view it's insides ?
Pathetic TV in my opinion.

Might find out that the snake is not as dumb as Mr Rosolie by refusing to eat a man made suit

Just cruel.

Discussed this today with my grandad- he can't get his head around it. As, I posted above Mr Rosalie has said that he will not 'harm the snake'. I assumed that Mr Rosalie is going to be pulled back out by the rope....the suit protecting him from stomach acid. As seen in the sneak previews

I have seen the 80s movie 'Inner space' wink tease

However.....do anaconda's not have backward facing teeth?? Rip him to bits- on the exit/ entrance??

Oh well....it will divert people globally from matters of importance. Job done.
