Is this who's going in to the BB house? - 1st Jan 2012 2:38pm
Frankie Cocozza
Yes, he of the big hair, questionable antics and X Factor fame. Frankie’s star shone brightly on the X Factor, until he was brought down by his own bad-boy persona. While he was never really a likely contender to don the X Factor crown, if rumours that Frankie is entering the Big Brother house are to be believed, then he now seems to be trying to make a name for himself on the ‘other’ side of fame.
Michael Madsen
Best known for torturing a policeman and slicing off his ear as Mr Blonde in Quentin Tarantino’s hit film Reservoir Dogs, the 54 year old actor will bring a bad-boy Hollywood edge if he enters the house.
Shaun Williamson
Since playing Barry Evans in EastEnders, Shaun Williamson has made a name for himself playing a heightened version of himself in Extras and elsewhere. He even appears in the trailer for the new series of Celebrity Big Brother, begging to appear on the show. If he enters the house, will we see the real Shaun, or will he still be in ‘character’?
Denise Welch
Ex-Coronation Street, current Loose Woman Denise has a reputation for shooting her mouth off and revealing slightly icky details of her private life and marriage to fellow Benidorm actor Tim Healy. If she enters the house, will she manage to keep a lid on her seemingly endless round of revelations?
Natasha Giggs
Following a well-worn path, Natasha looks likely to push open the double doors of the Big Brother house, then issue forth with a string of revelations about ‘her side’ of last summer’s rumoured entanglement, much splashed across the tabloids at the time.
Ruby Wax
Brash American comedian Ruby Wax is also rumoured to be entering the house. Wax began her career as a serious theatre actress before finding fame in the 90s with her BBC series Ruby Wax Meets in which she interviewed famous people. The 58 year old has a postgraduate certificate in psychotherapy too so expect some serious celebrity analysis in the diary room.
Natalie Cassidy
Natalie ‘Sonia Jackson’ Cassidy is one of the more likely internees in the Big Brother house. Having played Sonia on EastEnders on and off since 1993, Natalie has also released a weight loss DVD, appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, and has starred in her own series Natalie Cassidy: Becoming Mum, about, um, becoming a mum.
Kristina and Karissa Shannon
22 year old American blonde twins Kristina and Karissa have reportedly promised producers they will steam up the series. They’ve spent two years living in the Playboy mansion in LA as Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends so they know a thing or two about strutting around big houses while not wearing very much.
Wagner
2010 X Factor star and bongo-meister Wagner looks set to swish his tresses into the Big Brother house, on the wave of several tabloid stories and ‘revelations’. Whether he’ll be able to bring his twin drums along as his ‘luxury item’ remains to be seen. If he does, we can guarantee they won’t be a luxury for the other housemates.
Jay Camarelli
No, me either. Jay is apparently a model who appeared on E4’s Dirty Sexy Things – a series following the photographic stylings of Perou (bear with us), who put eight models through their paces in a series of outlandish fashion shoots. So now you know.
Lauren Harries
Lauren Harries has become somewhat of a reality TV staple in recent years, following her regular appearances as a child antiques expert on Wogan in the 80s. In recent years, she has appeared on Trust Me…I’m a Beauty Therapist and Big Brother’s Big Mouth. Now she looks set to jump the counter into the big house itself.
Kim Woodburn
Since packing up her cleaning materials in 2009, Kim has been busy in the jungle for I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here (where she came runner-up to Gino D’Acampo), and has appeared on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side – in addition to hauling herself into the kitchen for Come Dine With Me. Now she looks likely to join the other celebs in the Big Brother house. Surely the woman has suffered enough?
Gary Cockerill
Make-up artiste Gary is well known for buffing Katie Price to perfection. Whether he’ll be able to bring his not inconsiderable equipment into the house to work his magic on the other celebs is still unclear. And anyway, didn’t anyone ever tell him you can’t make a silk purse from a sow’s ear?
Kirk Norcross
Who? If the words ”wel jel”, “ream” and “shaaa uup” mean nothing to you then you will struggle to identify 23 year old Kirk. A star of hit reality TV show The Only Way Is Essex, Kirk is known for being a bit of a ladies’ man but has recently talked of wanting to settle down. Maybe he’ll find his one true love in the house. Shaaa uup…
Stuart Baggs
“I’m Stuart Baggs – the brand,” budding businessman Stu intoned on the Apprentice a couple of years ago. Well, it seems like that brand is going decidedly downmarket if internet rumours are to be believed. If Stuart enters the Big Brother house, expect lashings of self-aggrandising, arguments and malapropisms. Bless him.
Johnny Robinson
Johnny made it through to the live finals on The X Factor this year, then had to suffer possibly the world’s worst personal styling – viz his performance of Can’t Get You Out of My Head while wearing a kimono and peculiar eye make-up. Still, he managed to make an impression on the public – and if he does enter the Big Brother house, is certainly one to watch.
And finally….
Jedward
The twins look set to make a return to the house, but only in one task, as gnomes in the garden. Deep sigh of relief then.
