I heard that a child had been in an accident up by the Anchor Pub end and air lifted by helicopter. This was on the local verbal telegraph .
Must say at the same time, that crossing and the positioning of it is absolutely ridiculous and very dangerous, when coming up from Mill Lane.
Agree about that crossing position same as the one by sainsbury and harvest mouse pub....far too close to the side road.

12 year old boy knocked down and arlifted to alder hey....in critical condition. Might be one of the children i cross near dawpool. Hope they pull through.
