Has anyone seen the hollow developing in the dual carriageway as you come off the (A5139) Wallasey Docks Link Road North? It's right next to the manhole cover about 50 yards before you hit the roundabout. I'm sick of ringing Street Scene about it. They just fob you off. It's been repaired recently but it's sinking again. It's quite a deep hollow that's developing, I wonder if they'll deny all prior knowledge of it if it becomes a sinkhole and a car disappears down it one day.

yep..think I noticed it the other day..just past the car showroom?

Way past the car showrooms. Just 50 yards from the roundabout. Almost at the start of the Eclipse Printers building. Sorry I couldn't take a picture I was driving.
You can see cars and lorries "Lurch" as their wheels drop into the dip.

I have habdab its beginning to become dangerous again.

Before they fixed it a few weeks ago (very bad repair) cars were jumping when the went over it.

It needs to be repaired properly, it's dangerous.

I looked on the Wirral Council website. They have a report of it, althought it is said to be "outside the Toyota Garage" its said to be United Utilities problem and has been closed, ie fixed.
I have reported it again as Urgent.

The Council reference for it is CRM963918. One can check online but they don't plan to inspect it for up to fifteen days

Thank you for reporting it. The more that do that, the more they'll take notice.

The Council reports that they have had it inspected but it doesn't need attention at present. Of course its down to United Utilities: I well remember the "ditch" they let develop across Leasowe road, until they had time and inclination to fix it, which took months.Plus sa change.. I think they say.

Update. Council is now intending to carry out surface repairs very shortly. United Utilities say their sewer is OK (ha Ha) Just like Leasowe Road again!

Not surprised the size and weight of some of the lorries going along there, and everywhere else. It was pointed out when they first started giving the ok for these juggernauts that problems would be caused. Hey Ho here we go.

Isn't that the same location where policeman was killed, a couple of weeks ago ?

Almost exactly where the killing happened.

I was wondering if the hole had any influence on the vehicle that killed PC Dave Phillips.
It still hasn't been fixed, despite being reported numerous times.
