There are lots of police, ambulances and a helicopter is parked on the cricket pitch.

Merseyside police have confirmed that a stabbing took place in central park Wallasey this afternoon... The victims was transferred by air ambulance to a hospital for treatment. No further information available at this time....

Apparently it was a teenage girl burned in a chip pan fire.

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed that a teenage girl was taken by ambulance to Central Park in Wallasey and then airlifted to Whiston Hospital after she suffered burns in a chip pan fire at 2pm afternoon.

Poor girl, she must have serious injuries to merit an air ambulance.
I hope that she makes a full recovery.
What a dreadful thing to happen. Poor girl.
