The person who has lost the keys will know, nobody else needs to know.

Hand them into the police if no joy, thats the first place i would go if i lost my car keys.

Just a question! If it were me who'd found them, I'd knock on a couple of doors in the immediate area to see if they had lost their keys.

Have I explained myself satisfactorily boss?

Well thats a pretty stupid idea, i would rather the rightful owner were reunited with the keys, like i said the person who owns the keys would obviously know if they were theirs or not.

What are the chances of 2 people losing the same type of keys for the same car in the same park?

Knocking on some random persons door offering car and house keys to somebody you do not know is a bad idea.
Thats like finding a gold Rolex, giving a full description of it and giving it to the 1st person who claims it to be theirs Chief!

no

smack
No it's not!

If the key happened to be a key for, say, a Mercedes, I'd knock on a couple of doors that had Mercedes parked on the drive or outside. It's a long shot but it's possible it could be easily sorted without a trip to the police station.

I wouldn't just hand the keys to someone, but if they unlocked their car and/or house then its a pretty safe bet that they're their keys. Either that or you just happened across a set of skeleton keys in the park!!!

So take your smack and shh

Police stations the safest bet.

Opinions don't tend to be either right or wrong, that's why they are opinions.

The spelling of 'you're', however, is a lot more clear cut.

Now back in your box.
