police taped off building on the durley estate any one know why
I believe it was a car that had been burnt out. My mum lives down that way and said she heard an explosion at about 10.30pm last night. They seem to have removed the car but the area is still cordoned off.
According to "facebook" rumours and comments,there was an apparent shooting and a gun was found on the estate this morning.
Like I said this info has come from facebook!
My mum actually saw the car on fire!!! Maybe connected to the shooting?? Police are still there now.
I was in Arrowe park a&e last night with my husband and heard there had been a shooting, didnt know any details though.
The shooting was in birkenhead down by harrowby road I think, this car was on fire by Durley Drive around the same time. Still all cordoned off and police been there all day. Car was removed ages ago but police still there. Car maybe connected to the shooting, who knows??
