Just been to deposit some rubbish at the tip and as I came out there is smoke pouring out from the Old Mobil Oil site on Wallasey Bridge Road. No fire brigade there yet but there was a police car parked outside

i can smell the burning from my house and i live in wallasey . must be bad ... any thoughts

Went to tip myself and found the road blocked by one police and two fire engines. saw no smoke so obviously just damping down. All gone as came out of tip, just water in road. was gonna get pics on way out too!!

maybe it was the lap top??

Lots of old oil in there. I imagine that must stink if set on fire.
